She still has a nice body. No doubt she's gained some weight since her Oops I did it again days but she still has a nice body. I'd like a booty like that.
I'm not her biggest fan but cut her some slack. When she needs to get in shape she'll get in shape.
Cutting her some slack for the post-baby shape is one thing but someone please tell me she DID NOT wear sock and running shoes with capri pants! WHAT THE HELL!! Flip flops, or mules or something else but please, that looks awful. Britney, you live in L.A. now, not LA.

It is rare that I have seen a picture of Britney holding her own child. And one of the only times I've seen her holding her baby was when she was driving with him on her lap. I've seen her bodyguard carrying the baby and the diaper bag, and more recently, pictures of the nanny holding and feeding the kid. That is really sad to me. I hope that when she's not in public she's the one being the mom, not the nanny. Why have a kid if you're not going to be a mom?
It's funny how she looks here because just below in the shots of her on will and grace, she looks prety slimmed down, that is going to really fuel this new pregnancy rumor, especially if she just gets bigger. I take serious issue with her having a nanny like that. She doesn't have a full time job- she's on vacation (no, that doesn't wualify as vacation from her baby too, how many people do you know that do that?) and she has this nanny all the time, maybe she should hit the gym since she refuses to give her child some of her time?
Everybody needs down time, but geeze, she really should wear a bra. Her knockers will be swinging and swaying pretty soon.
I doubt I'd look good all the time if I had a five month old - the way most stars lose weight after having babies is not normal (or probably not even healthy). But damn Brit, if you have so much help taking care of your child, what on earth are you doing that you can't spend a little of the time you save on child care to brush your hair, wear a bra -- and a I can't believe no one has addressed this yet -- change your shoes if you're going to be wearing crop pants. Trainers and athletic socks with crop/capri pants is the definition of tacky.

Some people don't know what they're talking about. In every candid picture taken of Sean since he has been born with the exception of these Hawaii sets, he has been with Britney. That is a fact. Another fact, this nanny has only appeared in pictures 2 times in the past 6 months - both times were with Britney on a vacation. First in New York, and now in Hawaii. For the people critisizing, saying that they never see her with her kid and they've seen the nanny with him more often - get your facts straight that's just not true. Now what goes on behind closed doors is anyone's guess, but from pictures we've seen her with her child, holding him, strolling him around, and infamously driving with him in her lap.
She is not fat! Now I can't stand the girl, IMO when she married Kevin she just went downhill. She doesn't look fat to me, I think she looks good for just having a baby. Now as for the outfit O.M.G! She would of looked better with flip flops or sandles, and deff a BRA!
Tsav102487 - I am guessing that I'm the "some people" you are referring to. I didn't say that I've never seen Britney holding her baby. But in relation to some other celebs who you never see with a nanny, i.e. Gwenyth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, Reese, it seems that I've seen many of Brit with a nanny. However, I'm not a big follower of hers so I don't see every picture. I don't have time to look up and post links to all of the nanny pictures that I've seen. But I guess I shouldn't comment with my opinion, just the "facts" as you stated. I am sure that Britney would be happy to know that you are defending her good name as a mother.

Alissa - I'm not trying to defend Britney's good name as a mother - I have no idea what kind of a mother she is. She certaintly didn't leave a good impression on me and alot of others after the whole driving incident, but other than that I really couldn't judge. The only thing I had a problem with is people saying that the nanny is seen with her child more often than her, when that is clearly not true. Like I stated previously, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but until recently Sean has never been pictured with anyone but his mother and a nanny has only been seen when Britney is on a vacation (that would be only twice so far) - and this time she is without her husband. If you're not one that really follows Britney, then I apolagize for coming across harshly, because of course you wouldn't know that. We only can go by what we've seen. If that's the impression you get from what you've seen, you go ahead thinking it.
I'm not implying it- I'm saying it. No doubt a lot lot people (myself included) have a sitter occasionally, but I personally wouldn't have a nanny even if I could afford it, and that 'driving incident' as it is sodelicately referred to now was directly putting her child in mortal danger- no two ways about it. Everyone wants to give her bonus points for showing her child affection and being seen taking care of him but THAT IS WHAT MOTHERS DO. Yay, she loves her son- she's supposed to. I didn't get a standing ovation for loving my children because it's a given. And he is so young, his mother doesn't appear very hands on- no I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, yes I admit she could be the best parent in the freakin' world, BUT that is not the way it looks to me and I don't think I'm in the minority here because I busted my ass to be a great parent and that's what average, not rich, full time parents do. She's not on tour she vacationing and I don't think she needs a nanny because her life doesn't seem that hard. Again, just my opinion, based on the short glimpse of her life that I have seen. Nobody's giving her bonus points for loving her son - of course that's a given. I was just pointing out to alissa, who commented that she'd rarely seen Britney holding her own child, that she has held him and shown affection numerous times before. The car incident I don't condone at all, and I've already admitted that. But - what's done is done. Thank goodness that child wasn't hurt and we can only hope she learned her lesson and will use some damn common sense in the future - other than that it's time to move on.As far as her need for a nanny goes - she did say in her recent People Magazine interview that she's getting back into work, recording again, and we know she has an appearance coming up (GMA on Tuesday), so I don't think a nanny is that uncalled for. I,for one, am actually glad to see a celebrity go through the same post-baby weight battle that I'm going through. Why is everybody dissing britney for hiring a nanny she is always seen with him...... kevin on the other hand he is the one who needs to wake up and start spending time with his son, sure he may at home but i havent seen a photo of kev with sean, instead it seems to me he is partying every night and leaving britney with the baby and if thats the case let her hire a nanny she cant do it all on her own she must be exausted. Boy you guys are rough. Have you heard of post partum depression? maybe she is going through some stuff. I mean this is her first baby and it is rough. Mind you i didn't have a nanny when i had my child, but it gets rough. Then, we have to look at hubby. I do not understand why Brittany didn't take into consideration his past. They rarely change. Oh my god, for real it is not that deep, celerities are people=human, just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she has to be in tip top shape all the time. Or wear perfect cloth for eternity, or she has to lose weight right after she has a baby. Hey guys I am a mother of 4 and a stepmother of 3 grandmother of 5 and I know from first hand that it is not easy some things come to some of us slower then others this may be the case of Brittany instead of finding fault with her give her advice from one mother to another I know listening to older mommies with babies still helps me out to this day. And some new mommies don't feel they have what it takes in the beginning. Cut the poor girl some slack we all make mistakes that it what life is after all about. The right to life..
My problem is the fact that not one SMILE -- isn't anyone happy, that poor baby has to look at all those miserable faces, come on guys just a few smiles, he is a beautiful, healthy baby!!!

I have to say that I have been a huge fan of Britney's since the beginning. I have all of her albums. But I do have to say that her decision to drive with her baby on her lap was not smart. I do not really see how you all think she is fat! She has a tiny little pudge in the front. Who cares!? That just shows that she is a real person. If you had a baby would you really feel the need to get all dressed up to go out? Most mothers dont get alot of sleep because the baby has needs. If the nanny offered to feed the baby for you, would you reject that?? I've seen plenty of new mom's wearing things just like Brittany, she is just another human being like everyone else.
Maybe brit is just suffering from Post Partum. some days she's happy and the next she is in deep depression. She is also a first time mom, where all first time moms make mistakes. and I think that she will be making many more until she gets the hang of it.

I am from Louisiana, and I live about 30 min. from where Ms. Spears grew up. She is a disgrace to our state. For the most part, Britney is pure trailer trash. There is no excuse for her behavior! I know her ex-husband, Jason, and not one of my friends finds him remotely attractive and he had the personality of a door. I hate the way she makes Louisiana look. She is just as well liked as the Katrina victims!!!
This is my first posted comment ever, and I'm stunned that it's regarding Britney Spears. I'm amazed that I started reading this blog; but once I started, I couldn't stop. SHAME ON YOU! Are your lives so miserable that you attack a complete and total stranger? Does it make you feel better, maybe a little more superior, to make snide comments about this young woman's hair, weight, clothes, marriage, the fact she has a nanny, her mothering ability, her career, basically everything about her? One person went so far as to say, "I wish someone would take the baby away from her." HOW DARE YOU!!!! I repeat HOW DARE YOU!!!! That comment and some of the others that have been left have literally made me sick. Why don't we all try to work on making ourselves better people instead of trying to destroy someone else. The world would truly be a better place if we all treated everyone we came into contact with the way we would want to be treated.
I don't think that having a baby is an excuse for letting your body go - I was back in shape six weeks after my son was born. And if you don't spend as much time caring for your own child as you can, you'll regret it later. Those early years never come again. Every moment is precious and I can't imagine not wanting to make the most of that time if you had the opportunity.
She is doing the best she can. If i could have afforded a nanny when my children were babies, i would have hired one! I could use one even now, my youngest is only 3! Who knows, maybe she IS pregnant again....
As far as the weight thing, she has a baby barely 6 mo old, she looks great. It is ridiculous to call her fat. She'll be back down to her normal skinny self, but you have to remember, it took 9 months to put the weight on and with *most* people it doesn't come off overnight. I am not the biggest Britney fan, but the media being in your face after having a baby and following you around 24 seven. Maybe the nanny is toting the baby because Britney was up all night with colicky crying, hence the worn out,up all night, falling asleep in a chair rocking the baby look she is sporting. I am absolutely stunned that NO ONE has made any comment about the one thing that poses a potential danger to Britney's baby. Take another look at the first few photos of the nanny holding and feeding Sean while on a MOVING escalator! Britney is clearly maintaining her own safety by holding the railing on the way down, while the nanny has to use both hands to hold and feed the baby! Think of the tragic results that could have occurred if she had lost her balance or been bumped slightly by another person behind her. What senseless IDIOT would ride an escalator with a baby in their arms and NOT hold the railing? That's what a baby harness is for. And if the nanny doesn't like wearing one...then I'm sorry, Britney...you're IT! For this reason only, I hate those photos. Everything else is superficial B.S.
Why is it so bad that the Nanny is feeding the baby? How does that imply that Brittney is distant from her child?? What new mother isn't grateful to have someone help out? She could have left him and the Nanny back at the hotel and not been bothered. please I have 3 kids and let me tellyou I didnt have a nanny but I had a mother who did spend alot of time with us while kids were small this picture shows a tired looking mom........maybe BEFORE these shots were taken the baby was crying and crying Teething maybe Coliky maybe ....moms you know exactly what I mean.......and in my case I could give my baby to gramma for a little help or a BREAK A BREAK .... Britney is a young mother, and undoubtedly makes mistakes as all young mothers do. How many mothers can say thay have never made a mistake? I for one can't, and I am a mother of 3. My obvious discovery is that Brittany obviously has never had a boobjob as I had suspected , because her boobs are really sagging-poor girl.I've had four children and although I've never breast fed, I guess I'm just lucky my boobs are still pretty perky after having that many rugrats!!! It is rare that I have seen a picture of Britney holding her own child. And one of the only times I've seen her holding her baby was when she was driving with him on her lap. I've seen her bodyguard carrying the baby and the diaper bag, and more recently, pictures of the nanny holding and feeding the kid. That is really sad to me. I hope that when she's not in public she's the one being the mom, not the nanny. Why have a kid if you're not going to be a mom?
It's funny how she looks here because just below in the shots of her on will and grace, she looks prety slimmed down, that is going to really fuel this new pregnancy rumor, especially if she just gets bigger. I take serious issue with her having a nanny like that. Some people don't know what they're talking about. In every candid picture taken of Sean since he has been born with the exception of these Hawaii sets, he has been with Britney. That is a fact. Another fact, this nanny has only appeared in pictures 2 times in the past 6 months - both times were with Britney on a vacation. First in New York, and now in Hawaii. For the people critisizing, saying that they never see her with her kid and they've seen the nanny with him more often - get your facts straight that's just not true. Now what goes on behind closed doors is anyone's guess, but from pictures we've seen her with her child, holding him, strolling him around, and infamously driving with him in her lap.

However, I'm not a big follower of hers so I don't see every picture. I don't have time to look up and post links to all of the nanny pictures that I've seen. But I guess I shouldn't comment with my opinion, just the "facts" as you stated. I am sure that Britney would be happy to know that you are defending her good name as a mother.

Alissa - I'm not trying to defend Britney's good name as a mother - I have no idea what kind of a mother she is. She certaintly didn't leave a good impression on me and alot of others after the whole driving incident, but other than that I really couldn't judge. The only thing I had a problem with is people saying that the nanny is seen with her child more often than her, when that is clearly not true. Or that "she refuses to give her child some of her time" as good_wiffy seems to imply. Like I stated previously, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but until recently Sean has never been pictured with anyone but his mother and a nanny has only been seen when Britney is on a vacation (that would be only twice so far) - and this time she is without her husband. If you're not one that really follows Britney, then I apolagize for coming across harshly, because of course you wouldn't know that. You're entitled to your opinions, but the truth is it is not a rare occurance to see Britney out with her child - holding him, kissing him and etc.

She really hasn't been out that much without the baby to imply that most times he's with a nanny. The few times we've seen Britney out by herself, how do we know Kevin wasn't with Sean? The few times she's been out with Kevin (which is rare these days), means that she's leaving her a kid to be raised by a nanny? How do we know they don't have a friend or family member to help them out on those occasions? Who knows what goes on when the paparazzi aren't there, or how much time this nanny actually spends with Sean? I certaintly don't, and neither do you or anyone else. I don't think the fact that she goes out once in awhile without the baby means that she's never with him and that a nanny's behind the scenes doing all the work, but aparently that's just me. We only can go by what we've seen. If that's the impression you get from what you've seen, you go ahead thinking it.
I'm not implying it- I'm saying it. No doubt a lot lot people (myself included) have a sitter occasionally, but I personally wouldn't have a nanny even if I could afford it, and that 'driving incident' as it is sodelicately referred to now was directly putting her child in mortal danger- no two ways about it. As far as her need for a nanny goes - she did say in her recent People Magazine interview that she's getting back into work, recording again, and we know she has an appearance coming up (GMA on Tuesday), so I don't think a nanny is that uncalled for. Every mother is different, some are capable of doing it all others need the help. That's all I'm going to say on this topic. Like you said - lets just agree to disagree. :)

I,for one, am actually glad to see a celebrity go through the same post-baby weight battle that I'm going through. People like Heidi Klum who lose their pregnancy weight within 6 weeks of birth are the exception- not the rule- and only do so because they HAVE to or they risk having their rippled behinds splashed allover the newstand.

Hey guys I am a mother of 4 and a stepmother of 3 grandmother of 5 and I know from first hand that it is not easy some things come to some of us slower then others this may be the case of Brittany instead of finding fault with her give her advice from one mother to another I know listening to older mommies with babies still helps me out to this day. And some new mommies don't feel they have what it takes in the beginning. Cut the poor girl some slack we all make mistakes that it what life is after all about. The right to life..
My problem is the fact that not one SMILE -- isn't anyone happy, that poor baby has to look at all those miserable faces, come on guys just a few smiles, he is a beautiful, healthy baby!!!

I have to say that I have been a huge fan of Britney's since the beginning. I have all of her albums. But I do have to say that her decision to drive with her baby on her lap was not smart.
I do not really see how you all think she is fat! She has a tiny little pudge in the front. Who cares!? That just shows that she is a real person. And what does it matter what kind of clothes she wears? Maybe you all should be worried about yourself and what you wear instead of her.

If you had a baby would you really feel the need to get all dressed up to go out? Most mothers dont get alot of sleep because the baby has needs. If the nanny offered to feed the baby for you, would you reject that?? I've seen plenty of new mom's wearing things just like Brittany, she is just another human being like everyone else.
Maybe brit is just suffering from Post Partum. some days she's happy and the next she is in deep depression. She is also a first time mom, where all first time moms make mistakes. and I think that she will be making many more until she gets the hang of it.

I am from Louisiana, and I live about 30 min. from where Ms. Spears grew up. She is a disgrace to our state. For the most part, Britney is pure trailer trash. There is no excuse for her behavior! I know her ex-husband, Jason, and not one of my friends finds him remotely attractive and he had the personality of a door.

This is my first posted comment ever, and I'm stunned that it's regarding Britney Spears. I'm amazed that I started reading this blog; but once I started, I couldn't stop. SHAME ON YOU! Are your lives so miserable that you attack a complete and total stranger? Does it make you feel better, maybe a little more superior, to make snide comments about this young woman's hair, weight, clothes, marriage, the fact she has a nanny, her mothering ability, her career, basically everything about her? One person went so far as to say, "I wish someone would take the baby away from her." HOW DARE YOU!!!! I repeat HOW DARE YOU!!!! That comment and some of the others that have been left have literally made me sick. Why don't we all try to work on making ourselves better people instead of trying to destroy someone else. The world would truly be a better place if we all treated everyone we came into contact with the way we would want to be treated.
I don't think that having a baby is an excuse for letting your body go - I was back in shape six weeks after my son was born. And if you don't spend as much time caring for your own child as you can, you'll regret it later. Those early years never come again. Every moment is precious and I can't imagine not wanting to make the most of that time if you had the opportunity.
She is doing the best she can. If i could have afforded a nanny when my children were babies, i would have hired one! I could use one even now, my youngest is only 3!
Who knows, maybe she IS pregnant again....
As far as the weight thing, she has a baby barely 6 mo old, she looks great. It is ridiculous to call her fat. She'll be back down to her normal skinny self, but you have to remember, it took 9 months to put the weight on and with *most* people it doesn't come off overnight. I am absolutely stunned that NO ONE has made any comment about the one thing that poses a potential danger to Britney's baby. Take another look at the first few photos of the nanny holding and feeding Sean while on a MOVING escalator! Britney is clearly maintaining her own safety by holding the railing on the way down, while the nanny has to use both hands to hold and feed the baby! Think of the tragic results that could have occurred if she had lost her balance or been bumped slightly by another person behind her. What senseless IDIOT would ride an escalator with a baby in their arms and NOT hold the railing? That's what a baby harness is for. And if the nanny doesn't like wearing one...then I'm sorry, Britney...you're IT! For this reason only, I hate those photos. Everything else is superficial B.S.
Why is it so bad that the Nanny is feeding the baby? How does that imply that Brittney is distant from her child?? What new mother isn't grateful to have someone help out? She could have left him and the Nanny back at the hotel and not been bothered. please I have 3 kids and let me tellyou I didnt have a nanny but I had a mother who did spend alot of time with us while kids were small this picture shows a tired looking mom........maybe BEFORE these shots were taken the baby was crying and crying Teething maybe Coliky maybe ....moms you know exactly what I mean.......and in my case I could give my baby to gramma for a little help or a BREAK A BREAK .... I was fortunate to have that, as Brit has her nanny ( some perks of money i agree) its the same for her people she is a real person too NO MOM can deny that we need breaks and a hand!!!there are times it gets to be overwhelming .....who are any of us to say what it is like in their FAMILY on a day to day or hour to hour basis.Get in touch...how good did you look after an all night cry fest or an never ending morning of screaming and such....she is a NEW mom no amount of money can buy her this experience with and without mistakes.

Are you kidding me?!?! You people are past judgemental...you are plain rude!! The girl jus' had a baby 5 months ago, it can't be easy. Do any of you that have normal lives(yes she does to) know how hard it is to be in the public eye all the time and be up all right with a newborn, ummm...prolly not. You can't expect her to look 100% perfect all the time. The girl needs some support to 'cuz she obviously ain't gettin' any from "hubby" Kevin...come on now. Hey all you crazy people. Ok, does it matter what we think. The girl is a "CELEBRITY". She could care less what we think of her after baby body. Besides, when she gets back to work she will hire a personal trainer and look better than ever. Hey, I had two babies back to back and I did in highschool. I do not like the image that she and her husband portray in the media, but think about it, that is what sells. She is a normal person, she just has more money than we do.
